Friday, May 24: Fireworks Friday presented by Budweiser

o   BANG! ZOOM! Fireworks Fridays return to Nationals Park for a second installment!
o   All fans are invited to stay after the game to enjoy the fireworks spectacular.

Saturday, May 25: MARVEL Super Hero™ Day & Captain Zimmerman Bobblehead Giveaway

o   The Nationals will host the first MARVEL Super Hero™ Day at Nationals Park, featuring costumed characters, special scoreboard elements, and unique food items!
o   Specialty food items will include Thor’s Short Rib Hammer (Bone-In 2.5 lb. Short Rib), Hulk Nachos (with green tortilla chips), and an Iron Man-wich (steak sandwich with smoky tomato sauce), and more!
o   Fans are encouraged to join the fun by dressing up as their favorite super hero.
o   The first 10,000 fans to enter through ALL GATES on Saturday will receive a Captain Zimmerman Bobblehead (see attached photo)!
o   A select number of these Captain Zimmerman Bobbleheads will be autographed by Ryan Zimmerman and spread amongst the entrance gates.
o   Fans can view exclusive video content by using the augmented reality feature on their MLB Ballpark App with each bobblehead box.
o   Just open the Ballpark App, click the Nationals AR tile under Gameday Experience, and point your phone’s camera at the designated panel of the bobblehead box to view the video.

Sunday, May 26: Kids Max Scherzer Jersey Giveaway & Pups in the Park, presented by Budweiser

o   The first 10,000 fans ages 12 and under to enter through ALL GATES on Sunday will receive a Kids Max Scherzer Jersey (see attached photo)!
o   The second of five kids giveaways in 2019, with all kids giveaways presented by Harris Teeter.
o   Fans and their pups are invited to the third of six Pups in the Park days in 2019. 
o   Fans and their canine companions will have access to the designated Pup Zone in the Family Picnic Area, featuring pet sitters and representatives from the Humane Rescue Alliance and Fetch! Pet Care.
o   All proceeds from the dog tickets will benefit the Humane Rescue Alliance.

Nursing Mothers’ Lounge

Ballpark Features:

PenFed Kids Fun Zone
o In order to better serve families with younger children, the Nationals have created a new play structure for the 2019 season, located off of Center Field Plaza near the Right Field Gate. Sponsored by PenFed Credit Union, the new structure includes:
o A more open concept that features a triple slide and wave climb
o Enhanced interactive installations, including a hover ring and the skywheel
o A brand-new surface with a mini baseball diamond for kids to run and play Virtual Fun
o New for the 2019 season, the Nationals are introducing special augmented reality features through the MLB.com Ballpark App.
o Through the new “NatsHunt” Scavenger Hunt feature, fans can use their smartphones to find “Nats Stops” around Nationals Park and receive rewards that will be loaded right into the App when they find the last stop!
o The “Nats Stops” will be refreshed on a monthly basis, so fans are encouraged to check out the new content and locations during each month of the season.
o Fans will also be able to use augmented reality to play exclusive video content with each of the Nationals bobblehead boxes during the 2019 season.

Nursing Mothers’ Lounge
o The Nursing Mothers’ Lounge is a fully dedicated space for nursing mothers at Nationals Park.
o Located adjacent to Section 223, the air-conditioned lounge includes TVs, comfortable chairs for mothers, diaper changing stations, a play area for toddlers, and electrical outlets.

Sensory Training
o Last season, the Nationals partnered with KultureCity to make Nationals Park sensory inclusive.
o Sensory sensitivities or challenges with sensory regulation are often experienced by individuals with autism, dementia, PTSD and other similar conditions, and Nationals Park is now better prepared to help guests have the most comfortable and accommodating experience possible when attending any event at the ballpark.
o Sensory bags, equipped with noise canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards, and weighted lap pads are available at all Nationals Park Guest Services locations to guests who may feel overwhelmed by the environment.

Fan Experience:

Jr. Nats Kids Club
o The Jr. Nationals Kids Club is the best way for kids ages 4 through 12 to show their Nationals pride!
o With two different membership levels, families can choose which level works best for their young Nats fan:
o A free Rookie Jr. Nats membership includes special meet-and-greet opportunities, exclusive email offers, and a membership card and lanyard for each Rookie Jr. Nats member.
o A $20 Jr. Nats MVP yearly membership includes all Rookie member benefits, as well as an exclusive Jr. Nats Duffel Bag, Juan Soto Superhero Socks, Nationals Sunglasses, Jr. Nats Bucket Hat, access to a special line for Kids Run the Bases, a free message featured on NatsHD, a passport to collect stamps and earn free tickets, and access to lots of special opportunities throughout the season.
o Fans looking to learn more about the Jr. Nats program or pick up their membership kit are invited to visit the Jr. Nats Kiosk, located on the Main Concourse by Right Field Gate.
o The Jr. Nats Kiosk is open during every Saturday and Sunday home game from two hours prior to first pitch through the end of the third inning.
o Jr. Nationals MVP members attending Saturday and Sunday home games can also stop by the kiosk to get their Jr. Nats passport stamped. Fans who collect three or more stamps are eligible to redeem their stamps for free tickets to a Nationals home game.

First Game, Foul Ball, and Home Run Certificates
o Fans who want to celebrate attending their first game at Nationals Park or catching a foul or home run ball are welcome to commemorate the experience with a certificate!
o Fans can stop by one of three Guest Services locations at Sections 103, 131, or 320 to pick up a certificate.
o Certificates are available for free for fans of all ages.

Signature Sundays
o Two Nationals players will sign autographs for fans at every Sunday home game all season long.
o Autographs will take place at the top of the Nationals dugout starting one hour and ten minutes prior to the first pitch, weather permitting and subject to player schedules.
o Fans must obtain a free voucher in order to participate in the autograph sessions – vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at Section 103, starting when the gates open two hours before the first pitch.
o Fans are limited to one autograph voucher per person.

Birthday Parties at Nats Park
o The Nationals offer an all-inclusive birthday party package to give your child and their friends an unforgettable experience!
o The pregame birthday party experience begins one hour before first pitch and includes private tables in a climate-controlled indoor space, party games, a mascot visit and photo, pizza and cupcakes for guests, and a special gift for the birthday boy or girl from the Nationals.
o Once the game begins, your group will have reserved seats together on the Mezzanine Level, and get to see an in-game video clip of the party on the Nationals Park scoreboard.
o Birthday parties are available for children age 12 and under, and must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Red Carpet Rewards
o The Red Carpet Rewards loyalty program is now open to all fans! More details are available here.
o All fans are eligible to receive points through a program that offers rewards for coming to Nationals Park. The more games fans attend during the season, the more points they will receive.
o All fans will also earn points for engaging with the Nationals at the ballpark and at home.
o Fans who attend a game at Nationals Park can use the MLB.com Ballpark App to vote for the President they think will win the GEICO Presidents Race – voting is open until 30 minutes after first pitch and fans who correctly predict the winner will receive Red Carpet Rewards points
o At the end of the game, fans can also look for a Red Carpet Rewards code on the scoreboard
o All radio game broadcasts on WJFK (106.7 FM) will feature a Red Carpet Rewards code read by Dave Jageler or Charlie Slowes during the game
o Using the MLB.com Ballpark App, Red Carpet Rewards points can be redeemed for suites, seats, parking, memorabilia, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Nationals MLB.com Ballpark App
o Introduced at the beginning of the 2017 season, the MLB.com Ballpark App is the mobile home of the Washington Nationals. The Nationals added several exciting features to the App over the offseason:
o Teddy, the Nationals new virtual assistant, can help fans find everything they’re looking for at the ballpark using recently updated maps and a food and beverage finder
o Fans with iPhones can now access touch-free scanning by adding their tickets to Apple Wallet
o Nats PLUS members can access and manage their eCASH account from within the App
o Fans can access the latest Nationals player profiles, stats, exclusive videos, and more
o Once at the ballpark, fans will receive exclusive check-in offers to get discounts on tickets, merchandise, or concessions, and learn about featured items during each homestand
o Fans can upgrade their seats on-the-go from their mobile device in order to get the best possible view of the action on the field
o The MLB.com Ballpark App remains the easiest way to buy, scan, and share tickets with friends
o Fans can access the App via “Ballpark” on the App Store and Google Play
