The Washington Open is an annual hard court tennis tournament played at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park.
Fort Reno Concert Series

Shows are Monday and Thursday & music is scheduled for 7:00 to 9:30 PM. No alcohol, balloons, drugs or glass bottles allowed.
Water Lantern Festival

Jazz in the Sculpture Garden

Live music is back at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden! Reconnect with classics like jazz or a brass ensemble, discover global psychedelia, and dance to New York’s first and only all-women mariachi group. Join us for this four-concert series. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., concerts start at 6:00 p.m. Free admission passes are required for all attendees ages 2 and up.
Step Afrika! at the Kennedy Center

Join the celebrated dance company along with amazing step teams and guest artists as they take over the REACH. You’ll have the opportunity to take classes in stepping, the South African gumboot dance, and more from Step Afrika!’s world-class artists for an incredible weekend.

Opera in the Outfield

Celebrate the twelfth season of free opera broadcasts by joining Washington National Opera at Nationals Park for Rossini’s Cinderella at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. for pre-opera activities.
